Astech Projects

Astech Projects are a specialist engineering and science based company with a world wide customer base.  The company is recognised as one of the world leaders in automated drug delivery through testing, dosing and injectables.  Astech design, build, test and commission automated and robotic machines for testing consumer goods, nuclear and packaging applications in addition to the automation of  repetitious laboratory tasks.

Whilst Astech has grown consistently since 1995, it has been important to demonstrate that its corporate image is compatible with the quality of the machines it builds and the standards of the services it provides.  A global customer based can therefore be addressed with stable continuity.

Adrian Waine began working with Astech in 2006.  With several international exhibitions scheduled, it was imperative that the highest standards possible were achieved in the presentation of literature and visual displays.  A variety of ‘pull up’ promotional banners and glossy brochures have subsequently highlighted main features and with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise : Innovation 2009 to their credit, the ‘Only Way is Up’

All photographic commissions have taken place in the assembly workshop at the Runcorn site where the investment in professional photography has ben realised and appreciated.  The construction of Astech systems regularly comprises a rectangular frame work within which the testing system is housed.  This allows lighting to be placed around and above and sometimes inside the machinery and photography frequently takes place during one of the testing phases where specific functionalities can be sequenced.  Good lighting brings the equipment to life and reveals the most delicate of details.
